Dr. Nathaniel Evans, director of the Thoracic Surgery Program at Jefferson, specializes in treating patients with lung cancer. In particular, he specializes in a treatment called video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS), which is a minimally invasive procedure to remove tumors from the lung.
