Migraines are debilitating. They can last a few hours, weeks – some can even last months. When a migraine strikes, there is often no relief from the extreme throbbing, pressure and nausea. What can a sufferer do?
Neurologist William B. Young, MD, of the Jefferson Headache Center recently chatted with Fox 29 about easing the pain of chronic migraines via infusion treatment at Jefferson’s inpatient headache unit at Methodist Hospital.
“We individualize treatment for each person so not everyone gets the exact same thing,” said Dr. Young.
